At the age of seven, Miss Elycia was still struggling with English. Like many children, she found reading and writing challenging and lacked confidence in expressing herself. Through perseverance and a hunger for learning, she transformed her weakest subject into one of her greatest strengths.

Her journey eventually led her to graduate from Singapore Management University with a double degree in Law and Political Science under the prestigious MND-Edge Undergraduate Scholarship. She went on to build a successful legal career as an in-house legal counsel for a Singapore government agency, after earning numerous academic awards and distinctions throughout university.

Despite a promising career in law, Miss Elycia discovered her true calling in education. Having tutored students for years, she saw firsthand that many children were capable of achieving far more in English with the right guidance and teaching methods. She founded The Summa Academy with a simple mission: to help every student build strong English foundations, develop confidence, and unlock their full potential.

Today, with over 7 years of teaching experience, Miss Elycia has helped both local and international students master English through her structured, practical, and results-driven approach. From overcoming her own struggles with English to excelling in law and dedicating her career to education, Miss Elycia's journey reflects the very belief that drives Summa Academy today: every child can succeed with the right guidance, effective strategies, and someone who believes in them.
